Susan L. Kaufman, MPH
Sue is an experienced senior executive with decades of experience building and leading organizations to execute vision and business strategies in not-for-profit, entrepreneurial and government environments. She currently is an independent consultant bringing this expertise to health care providers, accountable care organizations, governments, and non-profits in the areas of primary care transformation, social drivers of health, and Medicaid strategy. Sue has led primary care organizations and provided strategic consulting to organizations developing integrated delivery systems and redesigning primary care for complex populations. From 2016 through 2019, she was a founding executive and Chief, Practice Transformation and Quality at Community Care Cooperative (C3), a Massachusetts-based ACO formed and led by Federally Qualified Health Centers. Previously, she was a Principal and founder of the Oregon-based start-up, Benova, Inc., which she developed from a small non-profit to a $100 million national business, providing outreach and call center services on behalf of government health care programs. Sue is a graduate of Oberlin College and has an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health.

She volunteers on several non-profit Boards including Grist and Deering Lake Improvement Association and enjoys nature, jazz, reading and spending time with her children.
