Jennifer Azzara, MM
Jenny is a healthcare consultant with over 20 years’ experience leading performance improvement initiatives and value-based care innovation. Jenny has served in leadership and consulting roles in practice operations, quality improvement, and patient-centered primary care during her career at academic hospitals, community health centers, and an Accountable Care Organization. Specific areas of expertise include primary care behavioral health integration, telehealth and digital access, patient experience of care, and health equity.
In addition, Jenny is an organizational development leader who co-led a six-year initiative to enhance leadership and teamwork with over 25 health centers, and who successfully developed and led an Accountable Care Organization’s strategy to improve workforce engagement. During her tenure at the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care, Jenny taught change leadership for the Medical Director Leadership Institute and the Masterclass for Non-Physicians where she provided practice transformation coaching for over 35 provider practices. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College and a Master of Health Policy and Management from the Heller School at Brandeis University.
Jenny’s superpower is leveraging improvement science with a person-centered approach to solve complex problems and create shared ownership of the solution.
She resides in Brookline, MA and enjoys long walks in the woods and on the beach with her dog.
