Catherine West, MPA
Catherine is a proven leader, with experience in the non-profit, philanthropic, research, business, and government sectors. As the Founder and Principal, Catherine brings over 20 years of experience in health strategy, policy, and program implementation. Her previous experience includes leading the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Vaccine Equity response. Previously, Catherine has supported Massachusetts Medicaid as a Senior Advisor for health plans addressing homelessness, housing insecurity, and food insecurity. She understands and appreciates multiple consumer and stakeholder perspectives as she has launched and scaled health equity initiatives for Steward Health Care Network Medicaid ACO, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Gilead Sciences, Inc., and Children’s Hospital in Oakland, CA.
Catherine graduated from Baruch College in NYC with her Master’s in Public Administration and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Health from Brown University. She has participated as a National Urban Fellow and as a W.K. Kellogg Foundation Fellow for “Emerging Leaders in Public Health: Managing in Turbulent Times.” She currently serves as a Commissioner on the Group Insurance Commission.
She resides in Hyde Park, MA and enjoys dancing, baking, and going to the beach.
